Care without Coverage
Find a Local Health Department.

Virginia's 35 local health districts and more than 100 local health departments deliver public health services to Virginia residents at the local level.  Within each district there are local health departments, many (but not all) of which offer health clinics which provide some health care services for the uninsured.

To Find a Local Health Department Near You

The Virginia Department of Health offers an online-directory of local health districts. You can use the directory to find local health departments which may offer health care services for uninsured individuals.

When you get to the website, check the map for the local health district which includes your city or county.  Then click the name of that district on the list provided below the map.  You will see a new screen showing the services offered by local health departments in your area.

Note:  When you click the link you will be taken to a new Window to complete your search.  When you are finished searching, simply close that Window to return to this page.
